Do I need Diesel Fundamental before Practice?
Yes. Practice assumes you already understand combustion physics, torque-fuel-air map families, and the DAMOS-free methodology from Fundamental. If you haven’t taken Fundamental, the Essentials bundle (F+P) costs €1,890 — saves €330 vs separate enrollment.
What firmware files do I work with?
Real ECU dumps, not simulations. You open actual firmware files, find the maps using the methodology, apply the +21% calibration strategy, and produce a file ready for the dyno. Each chapter walks through a complete case end-to-end.
Will the +28% strategy work on any diesel ECU?
The three methods (SOI + Rail pressure + Pre-injection) apply to most common-rail diesel ECUs — Bosch EDC17, Siemens PPD, Delphi DCM, and similar platforms. Actual gains vary by platform and factory tune headroom. The Stage 1 strategy itself transfers universally.
