We don’t teach which buttons
to press. We teach why the engine responds.
Tuners Guild® is a professional education institution for ECU calibration and reverse engineering. Built by practitioners, for practitioners.
Not a course. A guild.
Most ECU tuning courses teach you which map to change. We teach you why the engine responds the way it does — so you can work with any ECU, any manufacturer, any situation you haven’t seen before.
Tuners Guild® is a structured path from your first ECU read to reverse engineering firmware. One methodology that works everywhere — not a separate course for each control unit.
We called it a “guild” because that’s exactly what it is: a professional community where each level brings new responsibility. You don’t just learn — you grow into someone who can teach others.
Three things no one else does.
Methodology, not templates
We don’t hand you a map pack and say “flash this.” We teach the physics behind every calibration decision — so when you see a new ECU, you know what to do without asking anyone.
Ghidra — no one else teaches this
We’re the only structured training program for ECU reverse engineering with Ghidra. Read firmware directly, build features like MapSwitch and VIN protection, work without DAMOS.
Practicing instructors
Our instructors run working garages and calibrate real cars. Every lesson is built on real firmware and real client scenarios — not slides from a textbook.
A career path. Not a playlist.
Every student follows a structured progression — from fundamentals to engineering, with measurable status at each step.
Foundation
Safe ECU read/write. Winols mastery. Firmware structure and map identification.
Tuning Engineer
Diesel and gasoline calibration. Combustion physics. Your own Stage 1 files.
Reverse Engineer
Ghidra, IDA, TriCore. Read and modify ECU logic directly — no DAMOS needed.
Expert & Instructor
Advanced projects. Mentoring others. Shaping the next generation of the guild.
A practicing engineer and a proven education architect.
Most tuning courses are built by one person. Tuners Guild® has both — depth and structure, expertise and method.
Thomas Pirowski
30+ years in ECU development and reverse engineering. 6 years at Volkswagen Racing as software engineer (Golf Cup TDI / Jetta Cup TSI). Teaches Winols at two major universities. Manages 4 tuning companies across Poland, Germany, Norway, and Japan.
First to develop DPF-off solutions. First to crack ECU checksum calculation for Trionic8, BMW EDC17, Tesla, and Volvo in Winols. Creator of the only structured Ghidra reverse engineering curriculum for ECU calibrators. Patent holder in dynamometer technology, EV chargers, and medical devices.
Thomas has tuned everything from VW Golf to Lamborghini Urus, from diesel trucks to BRP SeaDoo jet skis and Kawasaki motorcycles. 30+ years across automotive, marine, and motorsport — and that’s exactly what he teaches.
“I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I know what it takes to go from flashing someone else’s file to building your own solutions. That’s what I teach.”
Stanislav Kasin
Education architect with 10+ years of experience building professional training systems. Founder of AcademyChipTuning — one of the largest ECU calibration schools, with 1,200+ graduates over 6 years.
Stanislav designs the learning system: course structure, progression logic, certification, and the methodology that turns complex engineering knowledge into a clear step-by-step path. He built the system that makes Thomas’s expertise teachable at scale.
“Expert knowledge without structure is chaos. My job is to turn 30 years of experience into a path anyone can follow — without shortcuts, without gaps.”
Why this works
A great engineer who can’t teach.
A great teacher who doesn’t calibrate.
Most tuning courses are built by one person — usually one of those two. Tuners Guild® has both. Thomas brings 30 years of real engineering. Stanislav builds the system that makes it learnable. The result: structured training that’s as deep as private mentorship — but accessible to anyone, anywhere.
An ecosystem, not a checkout.
Discord guild
300+ calibrators. Ask questions, share results, get feedback from peers who understand exactly what you’re working on.
Certification
Digital and physical certificates for each level. Your progress is measurable, and your clients can verify your qualification.
Rating system
From ⭐1.0 (Foundation) to ⭐5.0 (Instructor). Not a badge — a professional status that reflects your real skill level.
Real firmware
Every course uses real ECU dumps from real cars. No simulations, no toy examples. You work with what you’ll see in your garage tomorrow.
In 3 months I learned more than in 3 years on my own. This course helped me understand how ECUs work, how the ECU uses maps, and which maps are important. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to build solid ECU fundamentals.
From where you are. To where you want to be.
Choose your track and take the first step. The path is open — and the methodology has been waiting for you.
