The career path

90% of the money belongs
to 10% of the specialists.

The difference isn’t talent — it’s structure. Most tuners stay at level 1 forever, not because they can’t grow, but because nobody showed them the path. This is that path. Five levels. One methodology. Any ECU.

Find your starting point

Where are you right now?

Find yourself below. That’s your entry point — not where you started, but where you actually are today.

Starting point A

“I diagnose cars but can’t flash ECUs.”

You have 5–20 years in diagnostics. Clients ask for reflashing — you send them away. Your Kess cost €600 and it’s collecting dust. The skill to activate it is what’s missing.

Start at Level 1 · Foundation
Starting point B

“I flash ECUs but buy other people’s files.”

You read and write ECUs. You pay calibrators €50–€70 per file and charge clients €100. The margin goes to someone else. Time to make your own files.

Start at Level 2 · Diesel or Gasoline
Starting point C

“I calibrate but can’t work without DAMOS.”

You know Winols. You build Stage 1 files. But new ECUs without DAMOS stop you cold. You’ve hit the ceiling — and you can feel it.

Start at Level 3 · Ghidra
The path

From technician to engineer.

Each level gives you a measurable professional status — not just a certificate, but a position in the industry you can point to. Five stars, climbed one at a time.

1.0
Level 1

Foundation

Read and write ECU safely. Understand firmware structure. Master Winols as your primary tool. Find maps — even without DAMOS files.

Your first paid service. Your first income from chiptuning.

2.0
★ ★
Level 2

Tuning Engineer

Choose your track: Diesel or Gasoline. Go from using other people’s files to creating your own calibrations. Understand combustion physics, injection strategy, torque management — at the engineering level.

Your own calibrations. Clients pay you €300–€600 per car — not €100 for someone else’s file.

3.0
★ ★ ★
Level 3

Reverse Engineer

Ghidra, IDA, TriCore architecture. Read ECU firmware directly — no DAMOS required. Build features like MapSwitch, VIN protection, obfuscation from scratch.

You work where 99% of calibrators can’t. New ECU? No DAMOS? Not your problem anymore.

4.0

Level 4

ECU Expert

Complete the Mastery tracks with 1-on-1 mentorship from Thomas Pirowski. RAM coding, CAN development, firmware protection. Complex projects that other tuners can’t touch.

Companies and workshops come to you. You set the price.

5.0

Level 5

Instructor

Teach others. Shape the next generation. Influence the industry. The peak of the ladder — where contribution becomes the work itself.

How each level works

One methodology. Any ECU.

We don’t teach you one ECU at a time. We teach you how engines work — so you can calibrate any ECU from any manufacturer. Know the letters, then read any book.

01 · Fundamental

Theory and structure

Understand the physics behind every map, every limiter, every injection strategy. Know why before you touch what. This is where the methodology gets installed.

02 · Practice

Real ECU files

Real calibrations. Build Stage 1 from scratch under guidance. Every change — justified. Every result — understood. The bridge from theory to paid work.

03 · Mastery

1-on-1 with Thomas

Your projects, your ECUs, your edge cases. Direct mentorship with Thomas Pirowski. The final step to ⭐4.0 ECU Expert.

The principle

Your tools are ready.
Your knowledge isn’t.

Your Kess cost €600. Your PCMFlash cost €400. Your scanner, your laptop, your bench — another €500. Together they can do 10x more than you’re using them for. The course doesn’t replace your equipment. It activates it. One custom calibration earns €200–€600. Every course pays for itself in 5 to 7 cars.

Common questions

Before you decide

Do I have to start from Level 1?

No. If you already read and write ECUs confidently, start at Level 2 (Diesel or Gasoline). If you already calibrate in Winols, start at Level 3 (Ghidra). Pick the level that matches where you are — not where you started.

I’m not a programmer. Can I handle Ghidra?

80% of what you’ll do follows a clear algorithm. We don’t teach programming — we teach you to read ECU logic using Ghidra as a tool. If you can navigate Winols, you can learn Ghidra.

Do you teach my specific ECU?

We teach the methodology — not one ECU at a time. Know the letters and you can read any book. Know the methodology and you can calibrate any ECU. Bosch, Continental, Delphi, Denso — the approach is the same.

How long does each level take?

Most students complete Fundamental + Practice in 2–3 months at about an hour a day. You get lifetime access — go at your own pace, revisit any lesson. Some students start earning before finishing the course.

What if I want both Diesel and Gasoline?

Complete one track first, then add the second. After finishing your first Bundle, you unlock Graduate Pricing (−10%) on the next track for 14 days. Most students start with the engine type they work with daily.

The end of searching

You’ve been searching. The path was here all along.

Forums, YouTube, scattered fragments — years of searching for a system that doesn’t exist online. 90% of specialists stay in the first two levels. The path to levels 3 and 4 is open. The question is whether you’ll take it.
