How to participate

Three free signups · three capabilities

Pick what you need — most start with email, add the rest when they want more. All free, all decoupled.

Step 1 · Recommended

Email signup

Live attendance · 1 field · instant
What you get

Zoom link 24 hours before each Open Q&A + calendar invite + reminder.

Why bother

This is the lowest-friction path to attend live. One signup covers every future Open Q&A. Opt out from any email.

How

Drop your email in the form above. Done in 5 seconds. No account, no password.

Step 2 · For recordings

Academy library

Recordings + dashboard · 2 steps · free
What you get

Past Q&A recordings + future sessions saved in your personal Tuners Guild Academy library, accessible anytime in your dashboard.

Why bother

Missed a session? Recording is there. Want to rewatch a specific calibration walkthrough months later? Search your library. Email is one-shot — Academy is the persistent archive.

How

(1) Create free account at academy.thomasteachestuning.com (email + password). (2) Enroll in the Open Q&A Library course. Total time: ~60 seconds.

Step 3 · For your own question

Ask Thomas forum

Submit a question · 60 sec · free
What you get

Posting access to Ask Thomas forum category, where you submit specific calibration questions for the next live Q&A.

Why bother

Thomas reads every submission and picks the most useful for live answers. The selection bar is “can the answer help several other tuners with the same problem”. Your question → Thomas walks through it live → permanent KB article afterward.

How

Free signup at community.tunersguild.com (60 sec). Post your question with the template (ECU + Engine + Software ID + What changed + Symptom + What tried).

Thomas Pirowski during a private Members Q&A calibration session
For paid course students

Closed Members Q&A — deeper sessions

Beyond the public Open Q&A, Founding Members (paid TG course students) get private monthly Members Q&A. Smaller group, deeper dive — no marketing teasers, no product reveals, just hard calibration questions answered with the binary open on screen.

Cadence: monthly, separate from the public Open Q&A schedule. Access is automatic once you enroll in any TG course — invitations and recordings go out through your student account.

FAQ

Is the Open Q&A really free?

Yes — both parts. Email signup gets you the Zoom link before each session (free, 1 field). The Tuners Guild Academy library, where past + future recordings live, is also free — just requires creating an account (2 steps: signup + enroll in the course). No card, no trial, no upsell during the session itself.

Do I have to create a Tuners Guild Academy account?

Only if you want recordings. The Zoom email signup above is enough for live attendance — drop your email, get the link 24h before each session. The Academy account is the second optional step, for tuners who want to watch past Q&As anytime in their personal library and never miss a future session.

What’s the difference between Open Q&A and Members Q&A?

Open Q&A is for everyone — broader topics, occasional product announcements (like the Scrambler launch on May 19). Members Q&A is private and runs monthly for paid TG course students only — smaller group, deeper dive into specific calibration problems with no marketing layer. You’re added to Members Q&A automatically when you enroll in any TG course.

Can I submit a question if I’m not a paying student?

Yes. Post your question in our public Ask Thomas forum category. Free signup, takes 60 seconds. Thomas reads every submission and picks the most useful to answer live. The selection bar is “can the answer help several other tuners with the same problem”, not “did you pay for a course”.

Why are there separate signups for email, recordings, and forum?

Each unlocks a different capability — register only for what you need:

  • Email signup (form above) — Zoom link 24h before each Open Q&A. 1 field, instant. Most people start here.
  • Tuners Guild Academy account (recording library) — past + future Q&A recordings in your personal dashboard. Free, 2 steps: create account + enroll in the Open Q&A Library course.
  • Forum signup at community.tunersguild.com — posting access to Ask Thomas (where you submit questions for the Q&A) plus the wider knowledge base.

All three are free. Most attendees start with email, add the Academy library when they want recordings, join the forum when they want to ask Thomas.

Do I get the recording?

Yes. Everyone who registered (whether they attend live or not) receives the recording link by email within 48 hours after the session. Recording stays accessible for at least 30 days.

What time zones is the schedule in?

All times are CEST (Central European Summer Time, UTC+2). May 19, 12:00 CEST = 11:00 BST · 06:00 EDT · 13:00 EEST · 17:30 IST · 20:00 KST. Calendar invite handles your local zone automatically.
